I prefer to talk to someone face to face if it’s possible. This is especially very important to me if I have missed the said person. There is so much warmth in talking to someone face to face instead of talking to them on the phone. It is easier to tell if someone is lying when you talk to them face to face. Before sealing an important business deal, I believe it is necessary to talk to the concerned party face to face.

Depends. I prefer texting to be honest since I can take my time to think of what to say, and leave replying for a while altogether. Talking on the phone is fine in certain circumstances since I can then do things while talking to them, but on the other hand sometimes you need to be actually face to face with them, you know?

Face to face. I only speak over the phone whenever it's really necessary and important part from that I far way better enjoy chatting to people face-to-face.

    Phone for professional talks
A permission or leave or some kind of mistake that has happened.
If it was something involving emotions, something like an insult or something that tends to have happy emotions, then obviously face to face,it is much better looking the person in the eye and speaking.

It depends if I'm already meeting up with them for a get-together or they are just gonna call up to chat at random times of the day. If I think meeting up will be a bother then I would just go for talking on the phone.

I guess it would depend on whom I was speaking to. I would rather have most conversations face to face, especially in the techno age that we are living in, but I like the phone sometimes too. Face to face is nice because you can actually see people's expressions and have a real human presence versus just talking to some random voice over the phone.

That's interesting. You never know what someone is doing or how they're reacting to what you're telling them on the other side.

I prefer a face to face conversation most days, but a lot of times it simply isn't possible. I have never really been a big fan of phones and often I will just switch it off, as I don't want to be disturbed. I don't mind using messenger services, but have some kind of phobia about making or receiving phone calls. Perhaps it stems from that time in my life when I was harassed by a stalker.

I would prefer face to face. There are times when I talk to people on the phone who choose to just hang on the phone and not say anything. That is a pet peeve of mine when I am on the phone. I know the dreaded silence is coming and that makes the call become longer than necessary. I have a friend who is much more interesting in person than she is on the phone. Once she gets on the phone she doesn't have much to see. She will sit on the phone until I bring something up. Does that annoy anyone else?

I do both at work so I cannot really make a solid choice. It depends on my mood sometimes. Talking over the phone is fine because you won't need to see the real reaction of the person you are talking to. However if you feel you would like things to be more personal then it should be face to face.

Talking face to face is really powerful although it isn't always possible. I prefer to talk face to face since it helps to strengthen the relationship and to build trust. And, when it isn't viable to talk face to face, speaking over the phone is the only option.

I hate speaking on the phone, face to face all day.

Face to face, I can get things cleared and done when I am explaining or requesting something in person.

I like over the phone chatting, generally, but the topic of conversation would have to be casual. If I need to intimidate the person or there are money matters to discuss. Then, I definitely would need a face to face conversation.

It depends on who the individual is. Some people don't understand the meaning of brief and to the point so I would have to avoid that contact all together. A date or companion I would rather talk face to face, but just an associate, I rather talk over the phone.
