Do you prefer to speak over the phone or face to face?

Personally it depends on who i'm talking to. If it's my dad i'd rather speak to him over the phone. If it's a close friend i like it when we speak face to face rather than over the phone.

Eh, it depends on the situation.

I like to talk to friends I know where I live in person, but I talk to everyone else on Skype or Facebook or whatever place on the internet that allows people to talk to each other.

If it's for a job interview, I prefer speaking face to face. I have experienced a phone interview before and it was really nerve-racking than the one-on-one. I thought doing the interview over the phone was easier since I did not have to think about containing my expression, you know, to look smart and all that. I also could make all the hand gestures I wanted but the experience was totally different. It was harder when you could not see the face of the person interviewing you. There's no point you can gauge whether you are getting approval for your responses, that's when I realized speaking face-to-face with an interviewer is more important. That interview went on for about ten minutes, the longest 10 ten minutes of my life, and at the right second it ended, I thought it could have been better if it was a face to face one.

It really depends, I like to speak to people face to face if its something really important, it seems more natural for me to interact with people face to face but not all the time, other times i rather speak to people over the phone if its a 2 minute conversation. If I'm talking to somebody that I know very well but haven't seen for while I like to talk to them face-to-face.

I prefer the phone, but it really depends on the situation, I hate confrontation so depending what the issue is I definitely would prefer the phone! Yes I know I'm a big chicken!!!

I've always preferred face to face, but it depends on the situation. If someone is really far away in another country, then I would use the phone, but if it's just a 10 minute drive then I would rather speak face to face.

I like talking over the phone, but I'd rather speak face to face because it seems natural to me.

I like both, but it really depends on the situation. It its a friend who lives near or I visit regularly, speaking over the phone is the way to go. If its a friend who I haven't seen in five years, I want to meet him/her face to face.

To me there is nothing more powerful than face-to-face communication when trying to get really get your point across, but if the phone is the only means of contact, its perfectly fine.

I prefer up close and personal when possible.

I like to speak face to face because you can't soften up your words or add as much impact to them without adding facial expressions. I also like to see people in real life instead of grabbing pieces of them like their voices.
