Wow... Thats crazy!! Im never ordering electronics from china again! Ive seen posts on facebook of people faces getting burnt off from their chargers but i wasnt sure if it was fake or not. I dont think ill be using my phone while its on the charger anymore either. Thanks for spreading awareness of how dangerous these products can be.

That's very sad to hear, it's unfortunate to die from something of that nature. My prayers are with her family and friends and may she rest in peace. Everyone needs to be aware of the dangers of using your phone while charging it and sleeping with your phone as well.

It is almost frequent for us to be hearing this news. What is with these companies that only care about how much they are selling and do not care at all about their product's safety. Where are also the authorities that do not oversee the manufacature plants which produce these phones. That is why it is a good piece of advice never to use your cell phone while you have it charging. Simply unplug it before calling or answering a call.

My puppy keeps chewing through my charger wires so I bought a few cheap charger cables from amazon, they were only $2 ea. I think I need to keep an eye on them while charging.

China is definitely known for knock offs, and not quality knock off items either. I can't judge because I got my wedding dress from china for $150 and it was gorgeous.

Fuck. That's depressing. To be killed just because you picked up the wrong charger.

Fake products are a major problem in China and it is sad to see that one might have taken this girls life. They even have imitation eggs sold as the real thing! My thoughts are with her family in this sad time. I hope they get some form of retribution for this sad loss.

Chinese bootlegs strike again... They can duplicate anything, but it is never the same quality. From handbags to iphone chargers. This is largely because there are different standards for factories, and the safety and environmental codes are minimal at best for these type of manufactures. It's a damn shame that a child has to be the victim of this bullshit!
