I feel like P Diddy's "Missin you" is an emotional song. I hear it all the time after funerals.

For me the most emotional song is Pearl Jam's "Last Kiss", I get the chills whenever I hear it because it's something that could happens to anyone.
The song is from the perspective of a person who is in a car crash with his SO and their SO is dying in their arms as he's singing the song, helpless to do anything.

Maybe not the most emotional for me but Save Tonight by Eagle Eye Cherry comes to mind. Just the notion of it being your last night together and making it last as long as possible. Travelin Soldier by the Dixie Chicks comes to mind as well.

Yer there are this two songs that actually have me feeling emotional, like this one that P didy sang with Faith Evan, dedicated to Biggie, something like every step I take, every move I make, that song has me feeling sad and this song by Tupac, things will never be the same, those are the two songs that have me feeling emotional.

I think what makes those Metallica songs really powerful is the fact that those guys are known for being crazy motherfuckers in their early music, then you hear songs like that and it really gets to you. Like holy fuck, these guys are tortured souls...

I like so many songs that evoke emotion, but I think that "Journey" is one of those bands that just really brings out feelings in me that are the most emotional. I think of all of the good and bad memories that I have from days gone by. Even to this day, I can't listen to "Journey" without having some type of deep connection to their songs. I also like "Foreigner" and "REO Speedwagon" for the same reasons.
