I think that's why most fast-lyrics are repetitive, so you can catch onto what's being said.

I think it's either Mos Def or Jay-Z I last heard doing fast lyrics like I like.

Sure it's cool to understand them, but we can also look them up online and learn how to say them fast.

I prefer fast lyrics, but nothing too fast such as certain sections in "Rap God". It keeps the song upbeat and also can be quite impressive to listen to someone be able to articulate their lyrics so well in such a quick manner.

It really all depends, I like slow and fast lyrics but it all usually depends on the artist and what kind of energy passing through the listener's ear, beat instrumental plays a big role also when it comes to a fast or slow rhythm, it needs to ripple at the same level to give it a smooth or rough texture of the sound waves, everything needs balance throughout the song.

I prefer fast lyrics to slow all the time. I think the perfect is a mix of fast with "medium" because it gives a song some depth and dimension. I've never really been a fan of slow lyrics, to me that doesn't represent rap or hip-hop.

As long as its on beat, I don't care much

I just can't stand when people rap way too fast or way too slow for the beat

I prefer lyrics in the middle. Lyrics that are up-beat, but not like insanely fast, and not too slow either.

I personally like both fast and slow rap. To me in all depends on the song and tempo of the beat. At the end of the day if their lyrical content is great it doesn't matter how fast or slow they rap.

Slow lyrics tend to put me to sleep whereas the faster ones give the song a higher intensity level.I personally love both and that is exactly the reason why i love eminem.perfect blend..:P
I leave slow paced ones to help me get some sleep..

True, but i think i prefer just something between them.

Fast rapping is cool sometimes and i enjoy it as i used to listen to these 'fast rappers' at one point like Tech N9Ne, Twisted Insane, Twista etc.

Hmm. I don't really have a preference but I prefer it somewhere in the middle. Not too fast and not too slow. It's why I could never do a Busta Rhymes song. His lyrics go over 100 mph for me. I was listening to one of Nicki's old tracks a few days ago and the lyrics were fast. I will agree I enjoy it because it did challenge me to learn the song.

I think that I can really nod to any sort of flow as long as the rapper has skill and dexterity to deliver a good rhyme. There are different factors like varying the tone and the pitch to make the voice blend well into the melody. Fast or slow, the skill level has to be something achieved through practice. What really bores me is a monotone delivery when a rapper is completely disconnected from the track.
