God damn... So many threads to read!
I agree with who ever said it would be cool if the threads stayed open. I know we can't be asking follow ups, when Cashis just answered like 1000 threads... But let us talk shit between ourselves maybe?

Great picks on the UFC thread! For him to go with Mighty Mouse just shows that he actually follow this stuff and is not a bandwagoner at all...
It's sad that I have to tell Cashis that MM is going to get run over by Lineker though

There's some awesome stuff in there! Even questions I thought were kind of dumb, he just gave fucking great answers...

    Question:

"A long time ago, I thought anyone would just grab up a pen, scribble down a verse and head off to the studio. However when I was reading a Tupac bio I learned that long before he started rapping he took some poetry lessons which probably means he could qualify to be called a poet?
Anyway, question is: do rappers these days do the same thing or do they rely on others to write their songs for them?"

    Cashis:

I used to write poems and short stories as a kid. Now, I just freestyle my real life in entertainment form. Whatever, I feel that day, is jumping out of my soul, out of my mouth and str8 to the fans. No buffer...The purest form of art. But, I will forever be smitten with poetical wordplay. If more rappers, wrote from a poetic standpoint, lyrics would mean more

Yeah, people don't realize he's actually a really smart dude, and BBG Volume 1 was all freestyles.

I felt happy that Cashis answered my question about his views on the Illuminati, because he was pretty open and even said that they asked him to join them but he rejected it. It's nice to know that we share the same beliefs.

Lyrics would definitely mean more if more rappers would hone their craft. It means something to find your voice on the page and be able to bring that story to life. Just like a surgeon has to work and learn for a number of years to steady his hand, I believe the same remains to be true about most things in life. Good perspective, Cashis
