You can rap forever. There is no age limit for rapping as there is no limit to unleash your inner self.

You can create amazing lyrics both at 29 or 92. What matters is what is inside you. As long as there's something great to express inside you, then something amazing will crystallize outside. Never retire

You are never too old to rap. At the same time, I do believe the older you get, the harder it gets to make it as a big time rapper. I think that may be how it is with most music genres. But anyway, when it comes to just rapping, if you are doing it because you love it, then nothing else should matter. Jmo.

Definitely no age limit for rapping. I'm sure rappers in the mainstream will get tiring after awhile, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't rap any longer. I mean, people are getting tired of Em, and he's still pretty talented nonetheless. I'd listen to a random senior rap if they were even mildly entertaining.

I think if you're dealing with health issues that cause you to not be able to rap without getting yourself hurt, then you're too old. That being said, I guess it all depends on how excited you can get without getting yourself to pass out or something, otherwise I don't see an issue.

Why would there be an age where you're too old to rap? There are plenty of middle-aged rappers still killing it. Look at Eminem, Snoop, and Jay Z.

I am pretty sure there is no age limit for any kind of music. I do understand that some Rap may not be suitable for children due to the artist dropping the F bomb every other line.

There's no age limit for anything. If an old dude can rap then by all means let him do it. The oldest rapper I've heard of is 72. I don't how famous he is or how much money he makes but he's living proof that as long as you've got your voice, you can rap for as long as you please.

I dare to say that we are never too old to rap, if we still have the energy and the will what is keeping us from raping?

I don't think there is an age that's too old to rap, as long as you are able then you should not be discriminated against. Maybe some Experience and wisdom is just what the industry needs, and an elderly artist could definitely inspire others. I would hope age wouldn't discourage anyone.

Why 42? What's so different from 42-50 if you still have potent delivery and skills? I'm 36 & I'm in an upcoming Movie Soundtrack with Rappin 4'tay he's currently 46 & still cracking*

I think you're never too old to rap, you might slow down your style, but as long as your lyrics are solid, then the quality will come out.

Music has no age or ethnic boundaries, it is a wonderful and powerful medium that can span generations and cultures. It can elate and sadden, lift us up to previously unobtained heights and drop us back down in to a deep yet soul searching darkness. No one can legislate music.

Well said guys, music and rap in particular is one of those things that doesn't care how old you are.
