Don't LOL on this..but i listen to Britney spear-Everyday..She sang this a couple of months after shaved her head and went through her breakdown..Sometimes all these turn the x-factor on the song and on how she overcame all these.
It really is a great raw song..!!

I listen to Trance and chill out and sometimes doom metal that only when I'm feeling a bit down, because the melodies makes me wanna fly.

More depressing music. I don't how it works but it helps me make feel better. There's something about commiserating with others who have worse issues that boasts most people's moods. I've tried upbeat music before and it didn't work, just made me feel worse then I previously did.

But if I listen to songs like "We Carry On" by Tim McGraw, I instantly start feeling better.

That makes perfect sense to me, TuRon. I think if more people would actually listen to what their inner voice is telling them, they could possibly open doors to totally new possibilities. It's good to be in touch with yourself.

Hip-hop with darker and more depressing themes. I can also bump Illmatic all day everyday no matter what mood I'm in and I always feel better. Nas is my medicine.

I sometimes do the same, Rainman. It's almost a bit like torture. It's as you say, sharing one's burden with others, who understand and express it in their lyrics, in their music. It feels good to be alone and not alone. I like it when I can slowly feel that tension inside me dissipating. That's always the turning point.

This song will take me from "Omg my life is shit" to "YES I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT THE WORLD IS MY BITCH".

I get tired of most songs, even ones that cheer me up, so I don't really stick to any chosen few. I listen to classical when I want to calm my nerves, and when I want to cheer myself up, any good pop song that I haven't played to death would do.

Whenever I feel down, I often listen to music that makes me feel uplifting, pumped or inspiring. When I'm already depressed and I listen to music that is already depressing it actually makes me feel down even more for some reason. The kind of music that I often like to hear on those dark days would be, Electro House Music because the aspect of its genre mainly have a lot of colorful, upbeat and feel good elements that makes me feel more alive and excited that literally depletes my sadness which takes it away subconsciously. Another kind of music I love to listen to is Jazz, Jazz to me is basically just a bunch of instruments component together without words involved, that makes feel positive in such a way without the beat being too dramatic or intense.

This song always brings me into a good mood. First saw it in the movie "Spirit" and I always associate it with the song now. A cheesy pop-ish song but it does the job.

I love listening to upbeat r&b and pop songs. It makes me feel better because I will be moving around to the songs.

That is a powerful song to listen to on the road. I don't listen to any music if I am feeling down. I just don't feel like doing that.
