I don't buy physical CDs any longer, but I do like to purchase vinyls although they're sometimes not available for a given album. I just like having them as a sort of unique item.

If I really like an artist and their entire album, I'll buy a CD. If I really like a song, I'll buy it off iTunes as a single. The rest I normally just stream off Spotify or Pandora.

Sometimes. Pretty rarely now though, only if I like the whole album.

But usually, I just snag one song off iTunes.

I don't buy CDs anymore because the alternatives are much more practical, which I think is a shame because I did like having something physical to browse while I listened to the songs. I usually misplace them after a while, though, so I am a bit thankful that MP3s are now standard of which I can just keep in multiple hard drives and devices.

I try to buy an album over Bandcamp or stuff like that as much as I can instead of physical CD's. Most of my money is going into smaller artists because I feel it makes the most difference for them, and because it's cheaper most of the time.

I only buy CDs to support the artist noting less or more because you can just buy his music online and I really like to have an CDs collection.

Buying CDs supports publishers and not artists. If you want to support artists more, you should buy music online. CDs are nice to have around, but I hate how easy it is to break those things.

I still buy CDs for my favorite artists, new and old. I appreciate the work of the cover art and I enjoy reading about who the artist give thanks to for supporting their career. Sometimes the CDs have amazing pictures of the artist, of which, I like to frame. I especially like to include a CD in a gift basket.

I rarely buy CDs unless I really like the music artists.
But when I do buy music, it's online on iTunes.

Rarely, since mp3 files are enough for me. CDs can take up space and I only purchase them if I really really want to have a cd from that particular band, along with the artwork, just to show off.

I think I've only bought one CD in my life and i gave it to someone as a present, so basically i don't own one at all. I think most of us now prefer the digital way of buying music and movies because it's much easier and more convenient. However I'm really fascinated with retro music style which is the Vinyl. I'm planning of owning one myself, hopefully soon.

Not anymore. I prefer downloading my music because I like to cherry pick only the best songs from an album. After that I can burn them onto a CD if I want to but normally I don't do that. I'd rather just play them from external HDD where I store them.

I honestly can't remember the last CD I bought, the only CD I still keep are full of mp3's anyway.
Whenever I buy any music now I just get the digital version.
