    Do you still buy CD's?

I don't know about you, but I still love to buy CD's, simply because I enjoy the artwork that goes into the cover, and the fact that I have all lyrics sitting right on my shelf to peruse whenever I want to. It's not the same on a screen. I will keep on buying CD's for as long as they are going to be around. How about you?

I really like them too and enjoy having them around. My car radio plays them and I have a player at home as well. I really don't have a reason for wanting them other than I just like them.

Sometimes I buy CDs when I can't find a decent rip online.

It's cool to support the less fortunate musicians.

It's unfortunate that the physical form tends to be much less convenient than the digital. I can't remember the last time I bought a CD for myself rather than as a present for someone else, and last time I got a CD, I think I immediately ripped it to my computer and pretty much only held on to the physical copy as a backup.

Yeah, I agree that it's cool to support the artists if we can afford it, but I can't recall the last time I bought a CD.

I feel they are still relevant, but I don't usually use cds nowadays. I tend to use flash drives and computers for most of my music needs. Cds just scratch to easy and are harder to keep us with from a mobile standpoint.

Nah, I can support artists buying their digital tracks if I love their music. Cd's are not convenient.

Thinking back, I don't think I've purchased a CD in over 15 years!
I always hated having to store those things.

No but i do buy blank ones to burn my playlists to for use in my car. Most everything i get is digital download now.

Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I tend to buy more indie stuff at the record store simply to support the artists (since a lot of those labels aren't the big assholes and run relatively small prints) and older stuff that I either can't find good rips of online or don't want to exert the effort to. Usually I'll rip the CD to my drive and then throw it on a rack but they're still nice to have just in case.

If I really really like the artist, then I buy CD's but most of the time I don't, just get them digitally off itunes.

I do because I love having them, just HAVING them. I love having vinyls too. They're like piece of art, with the booklet and the design. It had become a collector's item for me, more than something you actually use. I never listen to them. I'll rip them or just rebuy the songs off itunes or download them off torrents (I feel that once I own the CD, it's not stealing if I download from torrents). I haven't owned a CD player for eight years, yet I have a shelf full of CDs in my home. It's crazy.

Once i bought my first CD burner, i stopped buying CD's that weren't blank. But i do like having original CD's, i just don't like the money they go for. But i don't miss them because i have two full CD towers with more than 200 original CD's. The sad thing is i never play them anymore because i'm afraid they'll get scratched.

Yes, every body buys CD 's. When our favorite artists makes a hit, we are the first to buy it. Holiday season is a great time to buy music as well. During the holidays, everyone comes out with a special CD. I cannot wait to see who will rise to the occasion this year.
