I use to play the guitar a lot and did everything I could to teach myself. I got to the point where I could jam out alone, but after a few snap strings and less time, I eventually quit and put it all behind me. I may go back though, if I feel like it.

I can play the Piano, the Guitar (two chords), the Baritone, the Trumpet, the French Horn, the Tuba and the Flute.
Ahem, I am the best Woodchuck player in the world, if I can put it ever so lightly. Oh, I have had Bagpipe lessons.

I am from New Orleans, it is a requirement to sing, play instruments, cook, party hard, be friendly, fish, eat hearty and so, on.

I would love to learn how to play the Harp and the Irish Harp. I had three lessons, so far.

Same here. I tried for a few days last year and realized it would take way too much time to learn. It's harder than it looks and I suck because my hands are really big, lol

I did have piano lessons when i was a kid but then stopped when i started becoming busy with school. Now i am interested in learning how to play the guitar. But it became to bothersome for me. Plus calluses have developed all over my fingers. It hurts so bad. But they say that it is part of learning. Once you get used to it eventually you'll play a lot better.

A lot of hip-hop songs require instruments first off. Please get your facts straight. Anyways, I've always wanted to learn and I finally had the chance to do that this summer, so I'm very excited to hear how I play all by myself soon.

I used to play the guitar when I was in high school. My dad gave my sister a guitar as a gift but she didn't use it, so I decided to give it a try and I loved it from the start. But I kind of lost interest when I entered college because most of my friends weren't really into music. I still have that old guitar but it must be in terrible condition now.

Don't give up. It doesn't matter if you have big or small hands. Here is a small list of guitar players with big and small hands:
Small hands:David Gilmour, Shawn Lane, the dude from AC/DC, Wes Montgomery,
Medium Size hands: Tony Emmanuel, Paco de Lucia(RIP),
    Big hands:Allan Holdsworth, Roger Water(Bass)
Guitar players missing fingers or partial fingers: The dude from Black Sabbath(Tony Iommi), Jango.

Size doesn't matter, it's what you do with it.

I love playing the guitar! It gets that much more enjoyable the better you get at it. Once you get the hang of some basics you can just blast off and create whatever you desire.

I have always liked the guitar. Time ago was practicing with my friends in the school, but not learned much, wasn't long time with the guitar. Truly I'd like to learn. Maybe being a professional.

I was trying to learn how to play guitar when I was 10 years old or so, but I never made through the first month because I found guitar to be very boring. But I think I am the only one in this world that feels this way about guitars since I see lots and lots of people, specially men, showing off abilities with guitars. What I would like to learn how to play is piano.

All day, every day bro! I play an acoustic and rock out to Metallica, ACDC, and A7X. I am learning to play Dueling Ninjas by Trace Bundy. He plays both the base notes and solos at the same time; it's fairly impressive. I am actually writing a rap song with the acoustic as the only instrument though, it's coming along nicely. It's similar to Hiphopopotamus vs Rhymenoceros from Flight of the Conchords though.

iI cannot imagine a song without a guiter cause guiters usually enhances the flow of rhythm in a song.

I play the guitar for some time now and I never get tired of playing it. I play all veriety of songs that I like or I can learn new songs fast if I just listen to them a few times. I like playing the guitar with a few friends that sing along or play along with their own instruments.

I play guitar Both electric and accoustic. Electric is so much more fun in my opinion though. I want to learn bass next! Now that's a sick instrument ;D
