Loud music against the law for only some...

I am wondering why it is illegal to have your system up too loud in a vehicle but have the cops not heard the stereo systems on a motorcycle? I was a red light the other day, a motorcycle was beside me, music loud and I could not even hear myself talk or think!
    So, where is that fair?

I've been fined $500 for loud music playing while driving. At court the judge asked me what music? I said rap.. He's like who? I'm like Eminem - The real slim shady, and him and everyone started laughing in the court room lol.

That's why I soundproofed my room. The vibrations get absorbed so that you can have the music as loud as you want.

Just don't have any internal/external hard drives running in the same room, though.

Depends where you are. I'd prefer to not have ricers constantly blaring their $100 best buy specials through my neighborhood if I can help it but most of that is because all they do is crank up the bass on a system that is VERY incapable of putting out bass. So you get some lyrics and just a bunch of very static/tinny thumping. How do you even enjoy music like that? How do you have hearing in three years?

Most motor cycles are too loud just because of the engine and adding the music only makes it worse. I can't imagine that the rider can hear that much of the music over the roaring of the engine.

I believe the police always pull over people with loud music. Having music loud in your can prevent you from hearing a firefighter sire, police siren, or EMT siren. It is very important to be respectful of the law. What if the EMT get into a accident, while on their way to your house to revive your mother? Just because we prefer to have music blasting in our vehicles does not mean it is beneficial.

Well I have never had to deal with people complaining about loud music in my room, that is what headsets are for. You get better music in your ears that way anyway. The motorcycle thing is a bit tricky, as I have never understood why they play music on their motorcycles at all. I mean you can barely hear it anyway over the engines. I have no idea why people get fined for playing their music loudly in a car. I see a lot of morons using their MP3 players in the car though while driving. That is just like...Whaaaat.

Wait, so they dropped your case, right? Laughter is the best cure for fines, or so I've been told.

I personally can't stand people blaring music too loud on the road. I just think there's not a need for it, I mean why are you forcing fellow drivers who don't want to listen to your crap music listen to it. It's the same problem I have with the people who sit on the back of the bus forcing everyone else listen to their rubbish.
