I have a favorite radio station that plays all kinds of music. They play rock mostly on Fridays and I enjoy it a lot. They believe in satisfying the taste of every listener. I have never bought pure rock music to listen to on my own. I enjoy music very much especially when writing or doing chores in the house. Maybe I should start a collection of rock music.
I'm quite into Indie and Punk Rock, and if I had to pick 5 favourite songs I would choose:
Dashboard - Modest Mouse
Sleep - Godspeed You Black Emperor
Sum 41 - Fat Lip
Blink 182 - First Date
pile - The Jones
I like listening to rock, but it depends on my mood. I guess my favorite will always be My Chemical Romance, and Linkin Park comes second on my list. I will forever rock, jam, and jump up and down whenever I hear "Welcome to the Black Parade".
Yes, i do listen to rock music every once in a while. Not my primary choice of music nowadays but there are just those times when i miss hearing those noises that uniquely comes from a rock music. I particularly like this rock band called 'System of a Down'. I don't know about you but their music really do makes sense and most of their songs are really catchy even for a rock band.
I can't help but listen to rock when I get into a certain mood. I feel like it helps to really express how I feel. Or when I just want to go running and I need that extra motivation. Rock music does that really well for me.
I don't listen to straight up rock,no. I do like indie and alternative rock. I can't stand Metallica (no offense) but Linkin Park has always been good in my eyes. My favorite alternative & indie band has to be The Spill Canvas... They are so awesome (: check them out if you like alternative/indie.
I listen to a lot of genres, but rock is my of my favorites. I listen to bands like Audioslave, Disturbed, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Guns n' Roses, Breaking Benjamin, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against etc. There are more, I listed just the ones that come to mind at the time without looking at my music library. There are also some bands that come to mind, but I don't really know if they're metal or rock, because today a lot of bands call themselves metal, but what they really are is rock to be honest.
