I do, but only when I'm at the gym or outside running. I listen to punkrock, rock and metal. Bad Religion, System of a Down, Metallica, Billy Talent, Linkin Park bands like that. Nothing underground or too fancy. I just need some heavy bass and some agressive beat, it helps me jog harder.
Below are 6 of my favorites rock songs.
Marilyn Mansion "Sweet Dreams"
Linkin Park "In The End"
Poison "Every Rose Has Its Thorn"
Skid Row "18 and Life"
Michael Jackson "Dirty Diana"
Benny Mardones "Into The Night"
I don't think I have a favorite genre of music. I listen to anything ranging from rap to pop to classical to rhythm and blues. Whichever suits my mood at a given time becomes my favorite of the moment. But I tend to shy away from rock as it is against my faith and is too energetic and demonic for my liking.
I do listen to rock and metal but I'm not limited to it. When I workout I use it for energy and motivation, songs like "The Pursuit of Vikings" from Amon Amarth and "Break Stuff" from Limp Bizkit get me going real good.
I'm not a huge rock fan, especially the more hardcore ones, but I do listen to some and I even had a phase of only listening to it for months, but I don't necessarily seek it out as much as I would other genres.
It's my favorite music! I am an 80's girl so I like a lot of the music from that genre. I love listening to Boston, Rush, Van Halen, Billy Idol, Journey, and many, many more. I also like a lot of the music from the 1990's, but after that, it's very far and few between as far as what is good Rock music these days. I'm not really into Rap which I guess is huge! The 60's and 70's music was awesome too! I love the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin as well as my favorite...Led Zeppelin. They are probably my favorite Rock band of all time! I also think that Bob Seger rocks, I always listen to his music when I really want to be in deep thought.
I find rock compilations easy listening, especially if there are some good guitar solos. Seriously, who here does not like a good rock guitar solo?
Some of the older stuff is the best, like Kerin65 said...Journey, Billy Idol, Van Halen .. all those type of bands are timeless and will always have new fans jumping on board.
I listen some rock music growing up such as Papa Roach-Forever, Linking Park-Somewhere I Belong, Gorillaz-Feel Good, I really like the rock music in the new generation also such has One Republic-Counting Stars, Imagine Dragons-Demons. Rock music is pretty good to hear, they have a very emotional message and makes me feel better when I feel low.
Yeah I like rock(not in the classical way). When I'm long-boarding or rollerblading is usually when I tune in. The faster the music the faster I go Rap and hip hop makes me more in a mellow state of mind and I weave and bob a lot while rolling
Never have really, and never will. My neighbor is Fieldy though from Korn. He's there bass drummer. I know him personally, and like the dude, and some of there music, but that's about it. I prefer just rap, and sometimes techno.
