Hip-hop music is definitely not dead, and the community may have changes, but different does not mean bad/dead. Hip-hop still thrives.

It's not dead, hip hop itself and the community is constantly changing, new styles and beats being born. Look at all of these new rappers who have risen up, it's truly a great thing to see.

Hip hop is not dead. We just have many hip hop artists who are not good at their stuff. When rappers don't make good music, fans will try to find better music to listen to elsewhere. If those alternative genres have better things to offer then they'll stick around there longer. However if we have to be honest with each other, the quality of music across all genres has slipped down a lot. That doesn't mean music is dead.

Hip-hop is very much alive but there are not enough quality rap songs.

People who say hip-hop is dead probably don't like change. To me the culture is just changing, not really dead. People stuck in the 90's or 00's want to stay in that era and don't even listen to that much hip-hop today. There are plenty of great songs if you look for them.

If you like the 90's hip hop then that is fine. I think everybody has his or her taste in what they want to see in their artist. I just don't like artist who do not have any real talent.

Not really, it's mainstream and a lot more popular than it was 20 years ago. It won't decline as well, I mean, no genre has died out. Rock kind of did but Hip Hop is unique.
