I think he just didn't curse that much on the track cause....well, either it didn't fit into the rhyme schemes or he just didn't feel it necessary. Remember, he's cursed to high-hell on radio-friendly tracks before. Lighters (I hate this song, but he does curse a fair amount on it).

Eminem isn't exactly on-topic either tbh but I'll bite

Lighters he goes off like a fucking sailor. Fast Lane he screams the line "NICKI MINAJ I WANNA STICK MY PENIS IN YOUR ANUS". Berzerk he doesn't exactly swear a lot, but his last punchline is literally about blowjobs, and he puts emphasis on it.

Em is popular enough that he doesn't need to tone down his swearing for people to listen to his music. He just needs it to be catchy.

Rappers are rarely songwriters, that's what producers do.

What? Absolutely not. Producers make the beat and (usually) mix, rappers write the lyrics and record.

I will admit that he's started to swear less. Probably not a conscious decision though, seeing as his subject matter is still offensive as ever.

I think it's because he's not mad like he used to be

Absolutely a factor, now that I think about it. Good point. Em is in a much more happy place than he was. He's now no longer as hungry as he was before; he now simply just wants to rap as hard as he can and have fun with it.

Lil Wayne is garbage. I don't know why people like him especially females. And this is my own opinion. He does not look good. Maybe it's the money that people are drawn to or something. It's funny because we were just talking about rap music at work and how it is nothing like it used to be and he was one of the subjects. The supervisor, who is young, said how do you sag skinny jeans?

Lil Wayne was dope untill he came back out of jail. That really changed him. After that it was just all about "pussy" and shit. Don't judge me, before he went to jail; I almost only listened to Lil wayne. I don't know why, but he made so many songs, and he already made so much songs before, there were so many songs to listen to which you kept discovering. Also, after jail he went from baggy jeans and era caps to skinny jeans nasty piercings and lame emo things (im sorry if I offended someone, I didn't mean to).

I think that I feel the same toward him as I do most artists. There is music out there that I like to hear, but if I start paying attention to it, I don't like it. There are some things I like to listen to, instead of just hearing it. Then, there's music I just turn off. He's put out a little of each.
