    Running vs Swimming

    Which is better to get fit in a shorter amount of time ? I myself prefer swimming.

    Only thing about swimming is you feel huge hunger after you are done. I don't feel that way after a job, only need some Gatorade.

    I prefer swimming. I find it more relaxing and it works out more of your body than running does.

    Yea swimming is definitely more fun also. They use it a a form of therapy for terminally ill patients even. Just don't find its easy to lose weight swimming versus jogging.

    Jogging is good for losing weight, but I think swimming is better for working on muscles. Swimming is also extremely good for losing weight, however, people generally get tempted to relax and wade in the pool rather than actually getting a workout out of it.

    Swimming is tiring for sure. A couple of laps in an Olympic sized pool at my own pace and I am exhausted. Much more fatigued than any other exercise, except maybe lifting.

    I suppose swimming because you don't get sweaty and don't have to take a shower afterwards.
