Just wondering if any of you have seen King Ca$his n person, maybe at a concert or in person and what the experience was like.

No, but that's gonna damn well change I tell you. I am a despicable hipster in that I usually like to listen to on-the-street stuff, just kids trying to make a name for themselves at horrible venues while probably being paid nothing. It has a lot of passion and backstory to it, and I love feeling like I'm helping some young musician get their wings. Usually I don't go see the big names in concerts because I worry they won't live up to the passion they can produce on the track, but I feel like from what I've seen Cashis has gotta be golden.

No, I have not had the pleasure to meet Ca$his acquaintance. I would probably be really shy in his presence, he is a mega celebrity to me. I would probably have a goofy smile.

    Well, duh.

Everyone thinks rappers are like Gods, but they have families, they gotta feed kids and they have their own lives to live.

I feel like it would be really normal ya know? Like if you listen to his songs he lived the struggle just like most of us have at a point.

I've never seen him. I've actually never been to a concert for anyone before. I stick to just listening to their music.

Why haven't you been to a concert?

That's surprising dawg. I always figured you, Homie and him kicked back a few. You are a powerhouse in his forum.

I haven't, but I would love to and I will jump at the first chance I get to see him. I don't know if I'd actually want to meet him, though, because I'd probably be all star-struck and tongue-tied.

I wouldn't be star struck or nervous or anything. Even celebrities are people. And I treat everyone the same. But the one thing that would be different is my respect level. I have lots of respect from what I have read about Ca$his and what he has contributed to rap.
I respect people at different levels but I treat everyone the same until they disrespect me. From an ordinary John Doe to Ca$his. Cept the John Doe has to earn my respect.

I met Roger Federer at my uncle's restaurant in NYC. I just walked up to him and asked for his autograph. Real nice humble guy. I said "you play some great tennis and are a good person". He was a bit surprised that I wasn't fazed at all like others were. He said "thank you very much I try." Then the other fans started crowding around and drooling so I left.

I wish I could be like that, and in my head I am, but I met my favorite author a couple years ago and I lost it. I think it's the level of respect I have for such immense talent that makes me act like a dummy.
